About Houston, MS

Houston, population of 3,505, is a Main Street Community located in Chickasaw County, Mississippi and is one of two county seats. Judge Joel Pinson donated land for development of what is now Houston, MS on July 8, 1836. Judge Pinson named the settlement 'Houston' in memory of Sam Houston, a childhood friend.

PART TIME DATA ENTRY CLERK

 

The City of Houston, Mississippi, is looking to hire a part time data entry clerk. The position will be 16 to 24 hours per week. This person needs to be fluent on the computer and the calculator, as this is strictly a data entry position. Applications can be picked up at Houston City Hall between the hours of 8-5, Monday through Friday. All applications need to be returned by 5 o’clock, Monday, November 3rd.
